सचिन तेंदुलकर के कोच और द्रोणाचार्य अवॉर्ड विजेता रमाकांत आचरेकर का 87 साल की उम्र में निधन हो गया. 87 वर्षीय आचरेकर काफी दिनों से बीमार चल रहे थे. आचरेकर ही वह शख्स थे जिन्होंने सचिन तेंदुलकर को क्रिकेट का ककहरा सिखाया था. कहा जाता है कि उनकी एक डांट ने सचिन की पूरी जिंदगी बदलकर रख दी थी.आचरेकर को 2010 में पद्मश्री से नवाजा गया था. तेंदुलकर के अलावा वह विनोद कांबली, प्रवीण आम्रे, समीर दिघे और बलविंदर सिंह संधू के भी कोच रहे . ट्विटर पर लोगों ने उनके निधन पर शोक जताया है

Yes it's true that world knew Ramakant Acharekar because of @sachin_rt only.
But it's more than a fact that that naughty kid became Sachin Tendulkar because of Ramakant Achrekar Sir only.
