  • Phew! What has hit Rohit Sharma and his men? They are finding ways to lose this season. Today they had it on the plate but still failed to cross the finish line. On the other hand, Hyderabad will be really boosted with this win. Their batters couldn't come to the party but their bowlers put their hands up and got the job done with a clinical show to end their two-match losing streak. That's all from this game. Tomorrow we have Bangalore taking on Chennai in their own den. The action starts at 2000 IST. Do join us for all the action. Goodnight and cheers!
  • Man of the Match has been handed to Rashid Khan. Remember, he was taken to the cleaners in the previous two games but boy, he has redeemed himself tonight. His figures of 4-1-11-2 is something you wouldn't see every night. Well done, Rashid!
  • Once that was done, Suryakumar Yadav was going along well and got support from Krunal Pandya. Both were cruising but it was Rashid Khan, who made good use of the review and removed the latter. Post that, the visitors just speared in and kept chipping away at the wickets to not let Mumbai come back in the game. All their bowlers shared the spoils but it was Siddarth Kaul who stole the show with a 3-fer to his name. Also, they did it without their strike bowler, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, which demands them a huge round of applause.
  • Just sit back and laud this bowling effort displayed by Hyderabad. Champion stuff from Williamson's men and they have beaten Mumbai for the second time this season. After how the first innings panned out, it needed a miraculous effort on the part of Hyderabad's bowlers to get the job done. They started off on a brilliant note as they nipped out three wickets inside the first six overs and handed Mumbai an unwanted record - lowest Powerplay score this season.
  • 18.5OUT! It's all over from Mumbai! Short of a length delivery, angling in on middle, Rahman looks to play the pull shot but gets a top edge. Deepak Hooda, the substitute gets underneath at mid-wicket and takes it comfortably. • 18.1Length delivery outside off, a play and a miss.
  • Basil Thampi is back on.
  • 17.6Just past the stumps! Fuller and curling back in from outside off, Bumrah gets down to swipe it across the line but the ball scoots under his bat and misses the stumps by just a bit. 85/9
  • 17.5FOUR! A boundary out of nowhere! Back of a length delivery, angling in, Bumrah swings across the line but drags it off the inside edge through backward square leg for a boundary.
  • Mustafizur Rahman is the last man in.
  • 17.4OUT! That's the game for Hyderabad! Digs in another short delivery outside off. Hardik swings again across the line but there is some extra bounce which takes the top edge. The ball lobs high in the air and Basil Thampi at third man comes a couple of steps ahead and takes it easily. The heads go down in the stands as the man who could have got them closer to the target is walking back.
  • 17.3Another miss! Kaul drops it on a shorter length outside off, he is hitting the deck hard. Hardik gives it his all but doesn't connect.

  • 17.1In the air... ohhhh, DROPPED! On a back of a length outside off, Bumrah looks to dab it away but it bounces a bit more. Takes the top half of the bat and flies towards widish slip where Dhawan dives full length to his right but the ball goes off his fingertips. Great effort. A single taken.

  • 15.6OUT! Beaten for pace! Lovely pace bowling, this! Siddarth Kaul has silenced the crowd and this is now Hyderabad's game to lose. They have made a match out of this one. Full and straight on the stumps, at 138.1 kph, Markande looks to flick it across the line but misses to get rapped on the pads. The umpire has no harm in raising his finger. Mayank was a dead duck. 39 needed from 24 balls. 80/8

  • 15.3Pacy length delivery outside off, Mayank runs it down to third man to get off strike.
  • Mayank Markande is the new man in.
  • 15.2OUT! No inside edge! That's dead plumb! Good length delivery, nipping back a bit, Mitchell looks to work it away on the leg side but seems to have missed it completely. The ball goes off the pads towards point and McClenaghan is out of the crease. There is also a run out chance as the fielder throws it at the striker's end but he misses. Kaul is busy appealing for an LBW and it's upheld by the umpire. Mitchell has a word with Pandya and then opts to take the DRS. Replays roll in and Ball Tracker returns three reds! Hyderabad are all over Mumbai now.
  • Is that the another wicket for Hyderabad? Mitchell McClenaghan is the man in question. He takes the review and only an inside edge can save him...

  • Siddarth Kaul is back into the attack.
  • 14.6Fuller delivery from around the wicket, Mitchell shoulders his arms. 77/6
  • Mitchell McClenaghan is the new man in.
  • 14.5OUT! Another one bites the dust! Straight down the throat of Rashid Khan. Suryakumar Yadav, the set batsman departs. Kane Williamson is the happy man. What a turnaround from his boys. This game is right at the edge of the knife. Back of a length delivery, angling in on the hips, Yadav walks across and tries to drop kick it. He does so but finds Rashid Khan to perfection at deep square leg who didn't even move an inch. 42 needed from 31 balls.

It goes quickly to him and Dhawan there takes another sharp catch moving to his right. Pollard's rough patch continues. Mumbai have half the side back in the hut. 46 more needed. This is turning out to be another close one.
  • 12.6Shot! Yadav has got strong bottom hand! Whips this quicker ball in the gap between long on and mid-wicket. Nabi from the former position, runs to his right and stops it with a dive. Two taken. 46 needed from 42 balls. 73/4

This one, however, skids off and pings him on the back pad. A huge appeal follows but the umpire turns it down. Rashid is really confident as he convinces his skipper to take the review. Replays roll in. There is no inside edge and Ball Tracker shows that it's pitched in line and would have hit the stumps. What a timely wicket for Hyderabad. Mumbai still need 59 from 49 balls.

  • 11.1Dipping full toss on middle, flicked to deep mid-wicket for a single.
  • 10.6Eases a full ball, fired at 91.2 kph to long on for a single. The stand between these two is worth 34 from 34 balls. 55/3

  • 8.5FOUR! This is turning out to be a contest between Krunal and Kaul. Good length delivery on middle, Krunal looks to pull but gets it off the inner half. Still has enough behind it to beat the dive of the man at mid on.

  • 7.4FOUR! Deft! Nabi does a blunder. He comes from around the wicket and angles it at a quicker pace outside off. Yadav waits for the ball to come and then at the last moment, he opens the face of the bat and helps it neatly to beat the man at short third man. A boundary results!

  • We are back for the run chase. Should be a stroll in the park for Mumbai but you cannot write Hyderabad off. If they managed to pick up a few early wickets, we can have a game on our hands. Let's see how the second innings unfolds. Evin Lewis and Suryakumar Yadav stride out to open the batting. Sandeep Sharma will take the new ball first up. A slip in place for him. Here we go...
