  • We're done with today's double-header. A straightforward win for Kolkata earlier in the evening to strengthen their position in the points table while Bangalore are doing just enough to hang in there. Tomorrow once again we have a couple of games lined up for you. Chennai will be hosting Hyderabad in Pune at 1600 IST (1030 GMT) and then Mumbai will welcome Rajasthan at the Wankhede Stadium at 2000 IST (1430 GMT). Do join us for all the action. Cheers!
  • AB de Villiers is chosen for the Man of the Match award. He played yet another dazzling knock and stayed till the end after the dismissal of Virat Kohli to make sure Bangalore cross the line safely.
  • For Delhi, their bowling started on a bright note but didn't show enough fire after that. Debutant Sandeep Lamichhane showed a lot of promise but apart from him, there wasn't much resistance offered. Earlier, Rishabh Pant once again played a breezy knock to set things up for Delhi and a newcomer, Abhishek Sharma set the stage on fire with his 19-ball 46 to take the hosts to 181 which eventually proved to be insufficient.
  • The chase for Bangalore started on a sorry note as they lost both their openers cheaply. Delhi would have hoped to strangle the visiting team but the pair of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers joined forces to build a match-winning partnership. Their 118-run association crushed all the Delhi dreams, if there was any, as they romped home with an over to spare.
  • A desirable result for Bangalore and they continue to stay alive in the tournament. Virat Kohli has a big smile on his face as he comes on the ground to shake hands with everyone. A clinical chase by the visiting team to complete their sixth win in a row at the Kotla. Contrasting scenes in the Delhi camp, they are now well and truly knocked out.
  • 18.6SIX! And AB de Villiers ends the chase in a grand manner. Boult serves it full and around off, AB gives it the full whack of his bat and clubs it over long off for a maximum. BANGALORE WIN BY 5 WICKETS AND ONE OVER TO SPARE!
  • 18.5Fullish and outside off, Colin drives it through covers and takes a single. Scores level!
  • 18.4Slower one outside off, de Grandhomme swings and misses.
  • 18.3Full toss on leg, it's eased down to long on for one.
  • 18.2SIX! Ho! Ho! Ho! AB special. Boult tries to follow the batsman outside off but ends up serving a full toss. De Villiers in spite of shuffling way across the stumps manages to hold his balance and dispatches it over square leg for a biggie. He is a special batsman.
  • 18.1Full and angling away from the batsman, Colin chips it over covers for a single.
  • 17.6De Grandhomme has driven it through mid off. One run added to the total. 14 runs and a wicket from the over. 172/5
  • 17.6Three wides! Very clumsy by the bowler. Fires it down the leg side, Colin swings and misses. Pant has no chance of collecting it. Ends up parrying it behind and they cross for a couple of times.
  • Colin de Grandhomme is the new batsman. 14 needed off 13 balls.
  • 17.5OUT! What was that? Patel bowls a sharp delivery but fails to land it. It's a low full toss dipping into the batsman and Khan tries to scoop it over the keeper. Fails to get the proper connection and ends up chipping it towards fine leg, close to long stop in fact. Prithvi Shaw is standing very straight at fine leg, not sure whether it's an intentional field positioning or young Shaw was out of place. Anyway, the catch comes to him and he grabs it in the second attempt. End of a little cameo by Sarfaraz and he walks back dejected.
  • 17.4Change of pace. A slower one, short and outside off, Khan is completely deceived and misses. De Villiers has a word with Sarfaraz.
  • 17.3FOUR! Lovely hands! A little bit of width on offer outside off, the length is short and Khan plays it late. He steers it behind backward point and finds the boundary again.
  • 17.3Wide! Khan puts the bowler off with his little trick. Shapes up for the reverse-batted shot even before the bowler has served and then gets back to his original position. Patel ends up serving it down the leg side.
  • 17.2FOUR! Top shot! A full length delivery outside off, Khan plays a nice inside out shot over extra cover and finds the fence.
  • 17.2Wide! Sliding down the leg side, Khan once again fails to flick and Pant does well to gather the ball on one bounce.
  • 17.1Not out! A low full toss angling down the leg side, Khan tries to flick but misses and is hit on the pads. They put in an unsuccessful appeal. Shreyas Iyer decides to review it but the replays show it to be missing the leg stump. Delhi lose their review.
  • Appeal for an lbw. Not given and Shreyas Iyer has referred it. That looks to be missing leg. A review in desperation, have to stay.
  • Harshal Patel is back on.
  • 16.6Lovely yorker around off, Sarfaraz digs it out off the bottom end of the bat. It rolls behind in front of the keeper and de Villiers calls him through for a quick single. 24 needed off 18 balls. 158/4
  • 16.5Very full and outside off, not giving anything to the batsman to line himself, de Villiers drills it through covers for a single.
  • 16.4Fuller in length and on the pads of the batsman, it's flicked behind square leg for a run.
  • 16.3A low full toss outside off, de Villiers digs it out through cover-point for a single. No need to do anything fancy and AB knows that.
  • 16.2Nicely played! Angling away from the new batsman, on a good length, Sarfaraz just gives it direction and guides it towards third man for a single.
  • Sarfaraz Khan is the new batsman.
  • 16.1OUT! And Boult makes an immediate impact with a wicket. Hurls across a back of a length ball around middle and off, skidding off the surface, Mandeep stays back to hit it across the line but fails to make any sort of connection. It sneaks past him and lights the stumps. 29 needed off 23 balls. The chase still is well and truly in favour of Bangalore.
  • Trent Boult returns.
  • 15.6Flatter and shorter around off, AB gets deep inside the crease and hammers it towards cow corner. They take two as the fielder misses his shy at the bowler's end. Mishra has bowled out - 4-0-33-1 tonight! 153/3
  • 15.5Walks forward to a full ball and forces it down to long on for one.
  • 15.4Good delivery by Mishra. A leg spinner around middle, staying a bit low, Singh tries to flick but gets a leading edge which rolls to point.
  • Mishra runs in but Mandeep is not ready. Some movement near the sightscreen.
  • 15.3Drives it with the spin this time but finds the extra cover fielder.
  • 15.2In the air... but it falls safely in the deep! A flighted full ball around off, spinning away, Mandeep tries to slog against the turn and gets a top edge. It balloons in the air but falls in no man's land at deep mid-wicket. They take a couple as Mishra has frustration written all over his face.
  • 15.1A full toss on middle, de Villiers eases it down to long on for a run.
  • 14.6Played through mid-wicket by the batsman. No run to end the over. 147/3

  • 13.5Short and outside off, cut to deep point for a single.
  • 13.4Gets on the front foot and drives it down to long off for a single.
  • 13.3Googly landing around middle, Mandeep has not picked it, tries to flick but misses. Gets hit on the pads but nothing doing.
  • Mandeep Singh is the new batsman.
  • 13.2OUT! Caught behind! Sharp catch by Pant. You have to give it to Mishra. Uses all his experience, kept his composure after going for a boundary first ball and showed the heart to toss it up. A lovely delivery, drifting in around off and spinning away sharply after kissing the deck, Kohli is well forward to drive it through the line but it turns away to catch a thin outside edge. Rishabh does well to snap it and 118-run stand is broken. The equation though is a simple one for Bangalore - 46 needed off 40 balls.
  • 13.1FOUR! He is a delight to watch, isn't he? Those whips. Those wrists. You just need to pitch it there in his half and he just demolishes it. Flighted and full on middle, whipped to wide long on for a boundary. Great start to the over.
