  • That is it from us today. West Indies have fought back with a bang to keep the series alive. India lacked intent with the bat today. That is the reason they lost a game which they should have won. There is a lot to play for in the final match of the ODI series. It will take place on 6th July in Kingston at 0900 local time (1400 GMT). Till then, goodbye and cheers!
  • West Indies skipper and Man of the Match, Jason Holder says that he is extremely pleased with his performance. Credits all the other bowlers as well. Adds that they were terrific in the field today. Mentions that India's top order has been doing very well in the past. Adds that getting Dhawan and Kohli early on helped them take hold of things. States that he is proud of Kesrick Williams and praises him for the maturity he showed in his second match. Opines that batting is definitely an area of concern and they will look to rectify it. Reckons that he needs to stick to a plan and bowl consistent lines and lengths. Adds that the only criticism was regarding his batting. Ends by saying that they need to keep believing in themselves and give their best.
  • India skipper, Virat Kohli says, they bowled well but admits they were not up to the mark with the bat. Opines small totals are tricky at times. Credits the West Indian bowlers for bowling in the right areas and building pressure on the Indian batsmen. Informs the pitch was a little two-paced. Further adds it was okay with the new ball but batting got difficult later on. Feels the bowling and fielding was on point but the batting faltered. Ends by saying they have to come out stronger in the next game.
  • The skipper was the star of the show and this was his best figures in ODIs. All the other bowlers were tidy and didn't let the Men in Blue run away. Especially the spinners, Bishoo and Nurse were right on the money and made life difficult for the middle order. The opposition batsmen were also guilty of poor shot selections. Defending 189 is an easy job but credit to them for bowling exceedingly well and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
  • Jason Holder was sharp with his captaincy and set attacking fields. There weren't easy singles on offer and the visitors failed to rotate strike on a consistent basis. There was a 54-run stand between Dhoni and Rahane but it came off 109 balls. Both of them scored half centuries but it can be said they were pretty slow. With Dhoni still at the crease in the 49th over, the tourists believed in themselves. However, his downfall almost decided the fate of the game. Holder held his nerves and bowled a tight final over to take his side over the finishing line.
  • What a game of cricket! Kudos to West Indies for battling it out till the end and emerging victorious. With the batting line-up India possesses, it seemed at the halfway stage that it will be a cakewalk in the park for them but the home side had other ideas. They used the two-paced nature of the track to great effect and choked the Indian batsmen. The early departure of Dhawan and Kohli allowed the hosts to apply more pressure.
  • 49.4OUT! West Indies pull off an upset. Their skipper has been extremely influential today. He has his fifth wicket. This is his maiden five-wicket haul. Bowls a high full toss on off, Shami tries to go over covers but does not clear him and hits it straight to Chase who takes the catch. The crowd has gone berserk. WEST INDIES WIN BY 11 RUNS.

  • Mohammed Shami is the last man in. 14 needed from 5 balls.
  • 49.1OUT! Holder is the man for West Indies today. He has been absolutely brilliant with the ball. He gets his fourth. Bowls a yorker on off stump, Umesh swings but misses and the ball hits the base off the stumps. They check for the no ball but there is no problem there. Holder is all pumped and the crowd is dancing in the stands. Ninth wicket down for India.
  • Umesh Yadav comes out to bat. India need 14 from 6 balls. With Dhoni gone, it seems unlikely that they will win this but stranger things have happened in cricket.
  • 48.6OUT! Is that the game for West Indies? Dhoni has to go. He was India's only hope in this situation. Williams bowls it full on middle, Dhoni tries to go over long on but gets it off the inner half down to Alzarri Joseph at long on for a easy catch. 14 now needed from the last over. 176/8
